A word about affiliations and content.
I am an artist, I MIGHT sell my work on affiliated websites.
The upkeep of this website (tobitokens.com) happens to run on coffee, sweat and tears, but not a lot of blood. I dislike blood. WordPress charges an extraordinary amount of money for me to keep tobitokens.com online and active. They even charge for image space and the cost is not getting cheaper.
My ultimate goal is to sell enough of my artwork that I am able to quit working for “the man”. Can I do that and afford this website? Time will tell. Chances are not good.
Should I ask for donations? Would that help?
Now that I’ve occupied a minute of your time, check out my work and maybe purchase a print or two?
About my content:
I leverage AI-assisted writing tools to craft my artistic vision. These tools help me translate my ideas into clear and comprehensive written content, despite the limitations of my disability. While AI aids my expression, the core concepts and creative direction remain entirely mine. It’s important to clarify that AI doesn’t contribute to my artwork itself.
The stories associated with my paintings were created with the assistance of artificial intelligence. While AI tools helped generate initial drafts and provide suggestions, the final stories are the result of my creative vision, extensive revisions, and careful attention to detail. The stories always take shape in my head as I paint. I have house to imagine these characters and the lives they lead. At the end of the painting project; I approach AI and the collaboration begins.
Each story project has spanned across multiple days and hours, involving numerous drafts, detailed discussions, and constant redirection of the AI to ensure the stories aligned with my artistic goals. I’ve had to frequently remind the AI of important details, correct inconsistencies, and refine the narrative to maintain continuity and coherence. Due to a disability that impacts my writing abilities and concentration, I rely on AI to help me express my creativity, allowing me to focus my time and energy on my painting, which is my ultimate goal. This collaboration allows me to bring my stories to life in a way that would otherwise be challenging.
Even with this extensive collaborative effort, the stories are not perfect. They represent a working process, and I acknowledge that a traditional editor or college English professor might find areas for further improvement. However, they represent my best effort to bring these stories to life. Even with the most powerful Intelligence at my fingertips, my very own college professor would cringe and bleed red ink all over these stories, but, she was never easy to please.
